ATTENTION ALL CONNETQUOT FOOTBALL PLAYERS!!!

PLAYER UPDATE:

*FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE FOR VARSITY & JV (INCLUDING 9TH GRADERS) IS THURSDAY AUGUST 20th.

Report to the New Gym by 7:30am.

Wear shirt, shorts and sneakers.

Bring cleats and a lock for your locker.

Practice Schedule

The general schedule from Aug. 20th through Sept. 4th will be two practices a day, Monday - Friday, one practice Saturday mornings, and Sunday off.

Morning practices will be on the field by 7:30am, with players dismissed by 10:30am.

Evening practices will be on the field by 4:45pm, with players dismissed by 8:00pm.

*JV will not have practice every evening. They will have limited double sessions with schedule varying based on weather. However, JV players should count on double sessions for at least the first week. Also, JV players being evaluated for possible Varsity play should expect to attend all Varsity double sessions.

*THE REST OF THE SCHEDULE, INCLUDING SCRIMMAGES, CAN BE VIEWED ON THE CALENDARS SECTION OF THE WEBSITE:

VERY IMPORTANT PHYSICAL INFORMATION:

Every players must have their physicals completed and the paperwork turned into the school nurse before the first day, Aug. 20th.

If you need a physical you must get it completed. Listed below are dates & times the school nurse and doctor will be in taking care of physicals.

Tuesday, August 11th, 4:30-7:00pm

Wednesday, August 12th, 4:30-7:00pm

*VERY IMPORTANT: If you got a physical from your own doctor the paperwork must be given to the school nurse to be checked and further school paperwork must be done. Also, if you got a physical in the spring for camp, an update sheet must be completed with the school nurse.

ALL OF THESE ISSUES CAN BE TAKEN CARE OF IF YOU ATTEND ONE OF THE TWO TIMES LISTED ABOVE.

Workout schedule for week of Aug. 10th:

Monday 7/20: Speed camp & Weight Training, 7:30-10am

Tuesday 7/21: Team Practice (open to all levels), 5:30-7:45pm.

Wednesday 7/22: Speed camp & Weight Training, 7:30-10am

*NO MORE WORKOUTS UNTIL AUGUST 20th.
