To All of Our 2008 Seniors~
Kevin Booras, James Campbell, Steve Cluen, Mike Cluen, Tom Coffey, Vinny Danseglio, Hamza Furqan, Steve Happer, Stan Hartnett, Joe Henriques, Chris Moore, James Rowland, Chris Shea, Doug Smiroldo, Rob Stafford, Brian Taylor, and James Tripodi.
We want to thank you for all that you brought to the Connetquot Football Program. Thanks to all of you our Football Program is much better today than it was yesterday. Whatever we said, you listened. Whatever we asked for, you did. Whatever we needed, you gave us. Words can never describe the gratitude and pride we have to have coached such a tremendously great group of individuals. We wish you all the best in your future and will miss you greatly. If there ever comes a time when any of you need something, anything, come and see us. There will always be a special place for you in our hearts.
It seems like yesterday we first met. It went fast but the memories made will last forever. Just because our time together on the football field ended, doesn't mean our friendship and bond has ended. There are many lessons learned on a football field that go way beyond the game of football. Life is a journey, we are glad that we took some of that journey together!
We had a phenomenal run together. Although it did not end the way we would have liked it to, we still won some great games, and with less injuries and a little more luck, who knows where we would have ended it up. As Stan Hartnett said on Senior Hit Day, "I would not want to go to War with anybody else then the coaches and players that I am with today." We agree with that tremendously! No matter where life takes you, you will all be T-Birds forever!
Thank you and much love!
