Ryan Anderson and Jonathan Sternbach shine against Longwood.

Posted Tuesday, September 18, 2007 by Michael Konsevitch
Making his first Varsity start, Sophomore Quarterback Ryan Anderson had a very good game. He completed nine passes for 90 yards and led the T-Birds on four impressive drives. He displayed great poise and confidence in the pocket and showed terrific leadership throughout the game. Anderson continues to show improvement as a Quarterback and is very coachable. He has been a great addition to the T-Birds this season and will continue to get better with more experience.

Junior Jonathan Sternbach had an outstanding game at his Defensive Back position. Sternbach led the team with 13 tackles (7 solo), had a great interception, and broke up two other passes. On the offensive side of the ball, he made three receptions for 38 yards. Two of those catches were great grabs in traffic. In this his second season, Sternbach continues to improve his game and provide speed, talent, and a great work ethic to the team. He continues to show great things for the T-Birds and like Anderson, is very coachable.

Great job by both players! Keep working hard and believing in your teammates and yourself. The wins will come this year.
