This Saturday is Homecoming at Connetquot High School. The Thunderbirds of Connetquot will host the Cougars of Commack in a battle between two 2-2 teams. A win will greatly help the T-Birds in their drive for the play-offs. Kickoff is at 2:30.
Other activities going on during the day will be the 3rd Annual Wall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which will be held at West Sayville Country Club at 9:30 AM. There are sixteen former Connetquot athletes and coaches being inducted this year. These members will also be honored during halftime of the football game.
At 12 PM the annual Homecoming Parade will take place through the streets of Bohemia. A lot of the students and teachers of Connetquot have been working very hard on their floats and the parade should be real exciting. During halftime the floats will make their journey around the track.
Homecoming is an excellent way for the Connetquot Community to get together and celebrate the terrific student-athletes we have in Connetquot. It is also a time to remember the phenomenal tradition we have in T-Bird Nation. Come out and support the T-Birds in their quest for excellence. A very large crowd is expected, so try to arrive early.
